Williams_NA
Hi guys, Only noticed this morning but when my wheels are at full lock to the right the front left wheel rubs slightly. What are my options to solving this problem? Cheers.

Chris Wilson
Buy some wheels and tyres that fit? If they are the correct width tyres on correct sized rims maybe a part of the water shielding has come loose? Depends what's rubbing on what, really. Harsh, but the correct answers often are

Williams_NA
Not sure will double check them tonight. I know they are 17'' wheels, whats the max tyre dimensions for a 17'' wheel can I accomodate? Its only the one side that is rubbing so might be something loose on the inside of the arch. Will have a play tonight.
dr_jekyll
could be the suspension sagging on one side . thats pretty common
merckx
whats the max tyre dimensions for a 17'' wheel can I accomodate? A 235/245 tyre is about right for the front but it's not just about tyre widths. Having the wrong wheel offset can make them rub too. Its only the one side that is rubbing so might be something loose on the inside of the arch. Yes, I would have a look at that. You might be able to modify a plastic cover.
Mike
Mine did when I bought it and the guy in the garage sorted it out... something to do with the tracking I believe. These aren't the kind of car you can bump up and down kerbs
Williams_NA
After having a look last night I can confirm that the wheel is rubbing on the arch lining. Would it be a major no no to take this out in order to solve the problem? I'm running 235/45 tyres on the front by the way. May be a case of going to 235/40 or
