pistonbroke
On my old TT auto, I changed the terminals due to the auto needing a bigger cranking power. On my newer 6sp manual however, I've just stuck a 330 cranking power halfords jobby on with small terminals and it starts and runs fine. pistonbroke
did you need to change the terminals ? Having looked into this fairly recently, it appears that some J-specs have larger terminals, so the HCB005 will fit. Some however don't (like mine). If you have the connections with the smaller type, the battery will not fit unless you change them.
hadyn
Ive got a halfords jobby in my jspec auto tt. Fits fine, but I did have to use a few pieces of metal to wedge it in as it was too loose on the battery clamp
