tomgeer
I am finally getting around to fitting my ebc over the next few days. I know where the main hoses for the new solenoid are to go and where to cap off but my question is this: Seeing as the wastegate VSV is disconnected and no longer functional can it be removed from the engine bay or does it need to stay there with caps on where the two pipes used to connect to it, if so why? (obviously the bottom of the actuator and the steel pipe near the spark plug cover will be capped). One other thing, can I tap into the line already used for the boost gauge behind the dash for the 4mm hose to the main unit as a true pressure source? I know you can do that with the blitz ebc but will it be the same for the greddy ebc? Sorry for my ignorance but I have not found a definate answer with my searches. Steviekid
Yes you can get rid of the VSV and yes you can use the same boost source.
