facelift and non facelift catbecks different?

i tried to fix a catback to my 1997 facelift. its non vvti.

 

the exhaust doesnt fit, but the oem catback does look different to my uk spec oem catback.

 

is there a difference or did OBX send me some wrong shit?

They're the same. (facelift/non/NA/turbo all same fitment)

It has to be said - yours doesn't look right. Maybe Mk3?

As above, the facelift and pre-faclift are the same (except your ones doesn't have the 2nd pair of silencers, some are like this, not sure why)

 

The new exhaust definetly is the wrong one, the routing and bracket positions are wrong for the mkiv.

i bought this exhaust 6 months ago from ebay usa. damn yankees cheated me

i was wondering which genius would build an exhaust with the hot piping directly under my fuel tank...

 

so how can i find out to which car this catback fits? i called obx racing and they told me the listed code is for an supra TT.
