cooin
I just wanna know is it very helpful for the gearbox? or just a little help? Because i known the auto box is very easy to overheat. Thanks.
Kranz
It depends on how much power you are putting through the auto box???? At stock power levels it will be fine. Approaching 450hp it will be getting very very hot! I'd suggest a cooler is a good idea over 350hp.

SUPRASUZUKI
What do you use the car for? If you're taking it to a track I'd deffinitely go for a cooler. Dumping heat from the transmission flluid via an extra cooler will aslo help keep coolant temps down.

Zofix
Does it matter if you mount the trans cooler with the outlets (nipples) in the buttom or in the top? I prefer for space room to have mine with the outlets facing down, but I don't know if it will affect the oil flow?
paul mac
yes, but mine one is J spec, i heard someone use the UK spec one on the J spec, but need to custom the brackets, is it? bit confused here, a j-spec has an oil cooler built into the main engine cooling radiator, unless you have an aftermarket radiator, have a single turbo or a high stall torque converter this is a total waste of time Does it matter if you mount the trans cooler with the outlets (nipples) in the buttom or in the top? I prefer for space room to have mine with the outlets facing down, but I don't know if it will affect the oil flow? cant visualise this mate, why dont you start a seperate thread and post a pic of what you mean

SUPRASUZUKI
My cooler's mounted with the ports at the top. I know others have mounted theirs with the ports at the bottom. Whether it makes a difference or not I don't know? Flow and return ports on the stock cooler can be seen here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=65231&highlight=tranny
