Guest FKADizzmystar
if they both use the same gear box would i just need to change the shifter on top and the shroud/auto dash surrounding to tiptronic?
Branners
I would suggest the answer is way more parts than makes it worthwhile. the tiptoe is a normal auto but with a whole new ECU and is only available on the facelift models, so assume you need a whole new main ECU, which probably means changing other stuff as the facelifts come with VVTI and OBDII. So your best bet is to buy a tiptronic. Nobody has yet done any sort of button or paddle upgrade for the normal auto either.

This still gets thrown about, but I have to hear of anyone actually using it. http://www.latentsolutions.com/suprastickuv.html
garethr
This still gets thrown about, but I have to hear of anyone actually using it. http://www.latentsolutions.com/suprastickuv.html The Suprastick only works on gearboxes with cable line pressure control, and the Supra's box has electronic line pressure control. Guest pyro
Shifter. another take on the same thing could be costly though, esp if you have to use another type of TCU setup.

Branners
Wouldnt say it wont work, just that nobody has tried it before as the cost of a tiptoe is cheap enough not to bother.
