AlanM
I went in to my paypal account to send some money but it says I have to up my limits (it is only £100 I am sending) To up my limits it then says I have to add a bank account. They already have my CC details so why this all of a sudden. Not keen on giving them my bank account details
Dave17
I think your allowed to send a certain amount each year or something unless you go through their checks which involve them paying 2p or something in to your account, and then you verify the amount with them...or something along those lines... Konrad
Yet you are keen to give your account details to mobile phone company, BT, energy companies, counsil tax, your work accountants etc. Paypal is like any other bank, they need your bank account details only to set up direct debit. 100 pounds cap is probably their way to cover from fraud caused by people canceling CC card payments. I do have paypal account, made quite a lot transactions and NEVER had ANY problem with them. Most of the times it is incompetence or lack of basic T&T knowledge. AlanM
I have done many transactions over the years and have never had a problem, if credit card was good enough when I was making big purchases ie HKS exhast manifold, injectors, all the expensive stuff I have bought, my point is why ask me to give bank account details now. I am no more lacking in competance or basic knowledge now that I was then
jamesmark
It is up to you, personally I would just register one and never use it. The only thing with is it will default to your bank account so you have to get vigilant when sending money to make sure it comes out of the CC.
