Frank Bullitt
The pros are probably you can get different coulor temps (white to blue), at a guess they're probably brighter. Cons for me are they are just extra complication & weight. HIDs will be fine in jspecs Thanks, are they a direct snug fit or do the need sealing into the units as has been mentioned previously. Any problems come MOT time? Can you still "flash" the headlights?

Any problems come MOT time? Can you still "flash" the headlights? You will have the same fitment issues as buying new bulbs for J-Specs (see the bulb fitment faq in technical), some trimming of tabs if you get the HB3 for dipbeam. It's advised not to get HID for full beam (prolly as you never hardly use them), just get the 100W bulbs as posted above. No issues at MOT time as far as I'm aware. imi
I've ordered some LED lights for the Sidemarkers, parking lights and for the Fogs. Will let you all know what they are like once delivered and installed. I'd always recommend PROPER HIDs with ballasts, etc for the low beams as supposed to wasting money on the above "XENON" bulbs. jonathanc
I'm planning to get these : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-93-99-HID-Xenon-Conversion-KIT-LIGHTS_W0QQitemZ110348989347QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item19b14ff3a3&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 But I'm a newbie to Sups so I am wondering if they will be compatible? Going for 6000k. How easy is it to install? Do I need special tools etc to get to the housing and install it? This is for a 98 NA. Thank you.
