matt
I've fitted these all round, along with the UK brakes ....... they seem a bit dusty to me Are they all like this?
Doughie
I used the OE Toyota Pads, and also later on I tried Porterfield R4 pads and, quite honestly, I didn't think the Porterfields felt much better. I think that says a lot about the stock pads to be honest. They're really quite good. Gavin Loughton used them on his car at RAF Bentwaters and they survived fairly well. As for the Porterfields on my car that day .... basically they melted in two sessions. completely gone. but they were only rated as "fast road" i guess. apparently the R4S Porterfields ar the proper race pads and should be good on a track. Guest Terry S
The pads CW supplied are excellent, much better than the Porterfield from what I've read. I have the fast roads he sells & they have lasted both trackday & 170 mph + stops.

GavinL
Originally posted by Terminator I have noticed this too Matt. compared to some pads they are very good. Porterfields produce way more dust than stock UK spec pads

I have stock UK spec brakes/pads and was going to move to the R4's all round so that I remove fade - period! A few people have mentioned that the R4S (Street) pads have not been up to much and this is why I was going for the R4's Thanks Pete
Guest Terry S
Peter speak to CW as the pads he sells are not Porterfields, but work superbly. I have not heard that many good things generally about the other pads. Hawk sells the Blue pads but these will kill your discs.

Guest Terry S
Peter, I think there are 3 grades. Fast Road, Intermediate & Track. I am sure I have the intermediate which are great. The track ones are both noisey & dusty.
