You picked it up wrong, what I edited out was "Who is your brother?" and when I looked he had posted right before me ;)

And I did note in the reason for edit that I was a dope :)

Where about in Grampian are you, are you in the city?

Yeah in the city mate down near the beach.

The biggest problem is that the car overheated last night, think its got something to do with the strange electric fan and switch that has been fitted :(

Supras have a viscous fan as standard. I'm not an expert but if I understand correctly, a viscous fan is designed to spin all the time the engine is on, unlike electric fans which typically cut in when the temp gets too hot (as measured by a thermostatic switch attached to the radiator).

Someone has remove the viscous fan at some time or another and fitted this electric contraption.

Whether the viscous fan broke and they couldnt get another one I dont know.

I think it will just be a case of fitting a viscous fan and it will be sorted.

The car has mkiv stickers on it so the car might be known?

Sorry, that's what I meant but didn't express myself very well. :) I would definitely try to get rid of the electric fan and re-fit a visucous one. Shouldn't be too tricky to get one from a trader or one of the breakers on here.
