Axle
I bought his book to quit drinking. (after 25 years) I stopped overnight. Piece of p!ss. Good luck chap. I'll place a gentlemanly bet with you - Buy the book. If you don't stop. I'll refund you the money. Or you could just send him the book? Guest krakkos
what you need is NLP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuro-linguistic_programming ... That's what the Alen Carr books and seminars are really teaching... I smoked 20+ a day for over 15 years, went to a seminar, smoked all the way through, put my last one out at the end and haven't smoked since... that was about 5 years ago.. To be honest, it was easy... but couldn't have done it without the NLP... before the seminar, I didn't even have the will power to even try and give up normally... I give it two thumbs up. AlanM
Disagree with Karolina, you can't stop anything for someone else, you have to do it for yourself

Lbm
lol thanks lbm i will try that You're welcome And my offer still stands. If it doesn't work out, Mike will be more than delighted to refund you in full for your purchase What? so I suggest the book and he gets the credit? It goes back to my teens Mike, where I'd attempt to chat up the ladies, take far too long about it - then your best mate swoops down and steals her away in seconds. And then just you're left there standing, saying to yourself "...But I did all the work..." Or you could just send him the book? If I send him my quit drinking book, he may quit smoking? Why not? I'll do it smoking hmmm.. i was smoke for few years for fun then for being bored and eventually it was habbit...and then come THAT day, so here is my little story: Was brilliant sunny hot July...me and my friends had party in stunning garden behind one of my best frineds house was loads of beers, bbq music, smile on each face was absolutelly great well not exactly...- sudenlly i realise _Feck i need buy some cigarettes so i walk to near shop and on my little trip to shop i found 10 pound so with big smile i bought some cigarette and few more beers,on way back some person stop me ask for direction where is nearest Police station..-so being new to this game (first weeks in England)i had no idea(later i been informed that Police station is on same street where i was live) anyway .. i go back to party and one of my friend start to play my favourite song i remember i was so happy hear that tune and be there with so many person i actully like it ! i open another lovely cold as ice beer and just like that come to my head a fantastic plan "Time for smoke" so i start smoke and cigarette EXPLODED on my face! exactly on lips was painfull and looks horrible! i had nasty scare for anther 6months! people(i mean bastards) keep asking, useing stupid comments and make some "funny" jokes what i got on my lips..(was black, burn, discousting big hill ) i was so angry and it ruin my wonderfull time i will never forget that fatastic and same time tragedic day! anytime if i think about it makes me feel so stress and paranoid..but it didn't make me stop smokeing so what was the question? if you WAN'T stop smokeing- JUST DO IT ! if you still not sure well..it will come to You-maby someone special will ask you to stop smokeing or you will be come somene special to finally stop it.. Abz
Can I have the hot girls number.....not really interested in quitting though:D p.s. how much are you after for the Civic? I am sure she gets plenty of non smokers turning up! Civic maybe sold on Thursday (Sorry to hijack Adnan). Like everyone says you have to do it on your own, but another thing which helped was I started football again with my firm and we play the full 11 a side with paid ref's and the full wack. The first few games I was terrible & was quite ashamed (Played for Millwall Youth & local clubs in my teens). I lasted only 15 minutes on the pitch, since quitting I can play a full 90 minute game & then still have the energy to boot the Supra on the way home! flukey-lukey
I'm on day 16 of giving up after my quite recent thread on here about quitting Using will power instead of gum or inhilators etc. Really quite proud of myself tbh! I'm 24 and smoked 15 a day for 10 years. I am actually worried as it seems easier than I remember last time I tried to quit...
Scott
If you were told another ciggy would kill you you wouldn't have another one. Just don't have another one without the threat of death. Or, you could employ my bat technique?

Good Luck I agree with Karolina. If each pack of cigarettes had one that explodes and blows your face off it may help you quit ..... a sort of cigarette Russian roulette lol That was the point of the post wasn't it??? Anyway, keep it up Adnan. The first week is the worst, the 3 months after aren't quite as bad
