wewsupra
Hi All, My mate brought a supra N/A auto back in November 08, and we both went out to give both our supra's a good run out as they have been sleeping over winter lol. but for some random reason my mates supra n/a auto keeps limiting at 120mph @ 5000rpms or a bit less. His got 3"ss exhaust with seconded de-catted ( manifold de-cat still on ) apparently the person he brought it off did said it was delimited. I have had a look at different post for him that other supra's have had the same problem but a lot of the post are about the problem with TT supra not N/A's. Can any one tell me how i could help him solve this problem. and are the other posts include for the N/A ? Thanks wew
Lbm
Hmmm. It's an NA? Full speed at present...120mph? Where's the problem? Edit: Aren't all Japanese cars limited to around 112mph? So perhaps a delimiter is required? Edited May 11, 2009 by Lbm (see edit history)

Thanks wew Sounds a simple case of 1)The speedo is over reading by 8mph 2) The car hasnt been delimited like the owner said, hence it stops at 112mph

wewsupra
well when i had my N/A i done 140 145mph so im wondering whether it could be the delimiter or from what other people have said, Fuel cut off or fuel defender but i thought only Turbo's had that? Al Massey
It sounds like it hasnt been delimited as i know N/A's can go faster than that both auto and manual

Al Massey
You need a delimiter. Have a search
wewsupra
ok, after having a search and speaking to my mate, the speedo converter is ok, it has been changed from kph to mph. so would he need top speed delimiter ? if i'm corrected lol. What could he look out for to see if his got the speedo converter / top speed delimiter ? has when i have search for them they all look like a little block, but where would they be situated in the car?
