heckler
well, as part of my "black is the new bling" scheme - I've finally got round to getting parts powder coated black. Having found a place that normally does wheels (who actually did a fantastic job on my girlys MX5) - The Wheel Specialist in fareham. First part I got them to do is the manifold.. http://www.internetwork.org.uk/random/manifold.jpg Next in the pipe line to be done:- Throttle Body Cam Covers PAS Tank Expansion Tank I/C Pipes

Bossco
Does it not get to hot that it will melt the paint off?
merckx
Does it not get to hot that it will melt the paint off? The powder coating process involves applying powder to the part in question and then baking it in the oven, the powder particles melt and coalesce to form a continuous film on the part. Thermoplastic powders will remelt when reheated. Thermosetting powders will not remelt upon reheating.
