supraspeed Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 Just wondering if anyone ever replaces the stock turbos with aftermarket (if they exist) turbos, not uk hybrids. like a cheeper solution to going single but not massive twins. or are the stock (or hybrid) turbos the best available for the car? I'm sure some of our more knowledgable members will be along soon to offer their own views. However, if I was presented with a turbo issue on my car, there is no way I could afford to pay out for a decent single setup (it can be done on the cheap, but it's not worth it, it's a prime example of buy nice or buy twice). I would be straight on the phone to Mr Whiffen, he offers a selection of hybrid turbos for different budgets all of which have the backing of experience which only people like him can provide.
