hogmaw
There is a strange continuous rubbing sound coming from the front of the car, and I can feel it vaguely through the steering wheel. The car has recently had the original 17" stock wheels put back on, and the noise appeared about 50 miles afterwards. Could this be the bearings, or have the wheels not been put on properly, or something else perhaps? The sound only appears over 20-30mph and usually when driving in a straight line rather than when turning.
madmarf
could be a lot bud. maybe rubbing? could be a wheel bearing, try jacking the car up and spinning the wheel, if you hear a grinding then the bearing is knackard. could be the pads, could be a lot of stuff, id try jacking up first and having a good look, and spin the wheels. jez
