Like it says in the title the first race of the 2005 Moto GP series which kicks off today from Jerez in Spain. Can Rossi Sucsesfully defend his title or will Honda strike back with vengance ?!. God knows but if you want to seee some decent racing from guys wtih balls the size of space hoppers on 250hp (ish) bikes then coverage is on Eurosport now, think the 1000s are on around 1pm.

Only noticed that it was on Eurosport last night. Hopefully the vhs recorder is ready and waiting. If not :twak: there's gonna be trouble.

Get a TiVo !!, I've lost count the amount of times I've been down the pub and realised I've forgotten to record something only to get home and find it remembered I like that kind of program and recoreded it, superb piece of kit  .

DOH!!! Why did i just read this thread?? Now don't need to watch it i guess. Actually that's a lie as i'll still watch it tomorrow before work.

I saw it live and've just watched it again, nearly as good the second time round as the first. To think this is just the first race if the season too !!.

Wouldn't mind a few more HRC parts for me little 250!! :D

What a great scrap at the end, feel a bit sorry for Sete!

I think he said it was Suzuki he was involved with when we were up at Bruntingthorpe.

Suzuki !!!, bet he half wishes it was Honda or Yamaha or even Kawasaki going by their last couple of seasons, mind you I'm sure there's plenty to do to keep him busy !!.

I can't help but think what's going on with Suzukis race efforts is a bit odd to say the least. You've got a major manufacturer with years of GP and then Moto GP experience and a fantasic develpment team on the GSXR front really struggeling to make a bike that can finish a race never mind be on the pace. Ducati had a superb season in their first year of competinng and going by the weekends results the Kawasaki seems to have moved on nicely over the winter period. Very strange.
