GUTTED!!!! it works out that my employers owe me about £2000 but might only get £700, not a happy puppy, i might just hold on till i get my next time served bonus then get out
terribleturner
That's really sh1t. My place has the same sort of rule. If OT is not claimed for within 3 months of doing it then you can't have it. But then i'm used to a company that takes and takes and doesn't give back. Surely they will see your a loyal employee and make an exception. penguin
um.... well i joined my company in a very junior position back in may last year.... lot of the processes they used where manual, so i automated em, was promoted to senior position in september, and again middle "management" in jan this year.... told em i was leaving in feb, so they said i could work 4 days a week, and get a 20% rise .... lot of other peoplewhere "flucked off"with it.... but i always say.... "you'd rather pull your company's pants down then let them pull yours...."
terribleturner
Well done mate, although im gonna have to hate you now, only kidding The "leaving" bluff worked for me too a while back. That was a welcome addition to the wage packet.
Supragal
Damn you penguin! Our place doesn't go in for all that. If you say you're leaving then it's just "ok, thats a shame- bye" not that I've tried it but I believe that to be the case. They don't care as long as the headcount is filled. penguin
ah, but the thing is cause i created most of the systems in place, and have NO documentation written for them to use...... they have to keep me ... i'm going to try and get an office on the second floor in the second half of this year.... might be pushing my luck EDIT:..... oh and thats the reason i have a supra and pay stupid ££££ to elephant
