Dave_SZ-R
I know this thread has been done before, but the links are dead in a couple of them, so thought Id ask again! Looking at buying new wheels for the car, but know that they wont fit over UK brakes (another member has checked this!). I want to establish if I have big brakes before buying these obviously, whats the easiest way to check (if pics are required I can post them)? Cheers, Dave. AndyT
It's the thickness of the calipers that counts. You need the offset to accomodate the larger (thicker) castings. Diameter wise you'll be fine. Edit. That doesn't really help. Sorry. Is there no paperwork saying you have uk spec brakes? It's usually a top selling point. Only other way is to try the wheel or post the make and offset of the wheels here so it can be checked. mustang
Would it not be possible to measure or find out the diameter of the your discs? I think the Larger ones are 330mm but you should be able to check that with a search.

Dave_SZ-R
Yep, lowly J Spec brakes for me. Dunno if having 'Supra' written on the calipers is a facelift thing, or maybe the previous owner has put some sort of decals/ paint on them. Im sad now. Anyone want to donate a TT engine/ UK brakes to cheer me up?
