mathew Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 entertaining a new female friend this weekend and have picked up on the fact that she is quite partial to a bit of rose (i hope shes partial to a bit of something else aswell:eyebrows:). so need to stock up a few bottles. at the moment all i have is some rubbish white wine which i was given at xmas and quite frankly tastes of vinegar, thinking about it it might actually be vinegar but in a fancy bottle. i picked up a bottle of Gallo white granache last night (after a recommendation) but ended up drinking it all while watching a dvd which is strange as i cant stand wine but this particular one was quite nice. so yeah looking for some more recommendations. not fussed really on what food it goes with and all that jazz just after something....well.....nice. It's one of the nicest I've tried and ladies love it because it has hints of strawberry. Gallo Sycamore Canyon Syrah rose @ £4.20 rather than £9.00 a bottle, this seems to be more red than rose though. there's also a Blossom Hill for about the same price discount.
