Guest robspan
hi all, I've had my imported TT (Aug'93) since Jan 2001, I still haven't found anything I'd rather drive It's never been modified, but now both the rear 16" tyres are gone, I'm thinking about a set of 18" instead. I can see a few on ebay for £300-£350, are these likely to be any good ? e.g. Wolfrace Shark, ADR 97, Silver Phantom. sold by e.g. Rochford or JSB. Other than getting the right tyres - 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 seem to be the right kind of sizes - is there anything else I'd have to do ? cheers,
jamesmark
You will get what you pay for in wheels, you have to watch the offsets etc. Are those staggered fitment? What tyres do they come with or are you going for?
