Just found Deb's Now magazine. That should be thick enough to not bite through lol If its female it might distract it long enough to get it out too. Unfortunately I panicked when I got to the releasing part and just lobbed the glass and magazine outside at the same time lol. We get them double that size down this way, and I've named all of the one's in my house. They are quite friendly really. A tin of cat food is normally enough to keep them tame.
