Guest Rays the roof

Help with my NA please!

 

Car turns over but doesn't start.

Took spark plug out and getting fuel into engine but no spark at plug.

 

Looked at wiring diagrams but my ignition is 8 pin as shown below (but only 6 have wires into them). Established positions 7 & 8 activate starter (turn over), but cant figure how to check ingnition circuit.

 

Wire colours are as follows:

 

1

2 White/red

3 Black/brown

4 Black/yellow

5 Pink/blue

6

7 White

8 Black/white

 

Can anyone help :)

give us some back ground exe... it died wile driving, just wouldnt start one morning, do you have an aftermarket alarm?

hi had same prob but i had spark mines a na did the shopping list fuel , spark ,pump , leads, all working so i got new spark plugs distributor cap rotor arm still no good engine turns smell petrol but no fire took spark plugs out fire up i had spark Mmm in the end it went to garage doctor . in the end it was the ignition coil it wasnt given it a big spark got one of ebay for £35 plug up turn the key lovely sound
