a98pmalcolm
Hay guys, just asking what idea or what people did to there TT supra for nice tidy not to expensive tune ups. I gone, HKS full exhaust system, HKS BOV, HKS filter and chip. Possiable future ideas: De-Cat, Boost controler, Fuel Pump. But do power boost valves, spark leads etc...make much difference with supras? and what does, except big jobs like turbos etc... Any experience advice? Thanks Paul

Thanks Paul Oil, Oil filter, coolant, fuel filter should be the first job. BOV doesn't do jack but make a noise and cause boost lag (i have one so i'm not just being pissy) HKS filter is probably the worst thing you can do to your car. Chip??? As in potato? Its not a PS2 If you want performance you need to go full BPU. Click on the "bpu" link to get all the information you will need. After that you could get a full standalone ECU to free a few more ponies. Next thing to do is go single. Expect around the 400 mark from bpu, varies from dyno to dyno though. Gaz6002
Hi mate. Click the search button above to find all your answers. Click here: BPU Also, the 2JZ-GTE engine doesn't have spark leads, it uses coil packs. When you say 'chip', what do you mean?
kslb
Power boost valve will work if you don't have an aftermarket piggy back or ecu there is one for sale in the parts for sale section and loads of info on it in post 3. And yes it is me selling it, just click the ebay link.

hoff
BPU is certainly the way to go for a relatively inexpensive but benificial first step.

Ian C
Power boost valve will work if you don't have an aftermarket piggy back or ecu there is one for sale in the parts for sale section and loads of info on it in post 3. The power boost valve is the most discredited modification this side of magnets on the fuel line. In fact they are worse, as they completely cock up your fuelling under 'normal' circumstances (I just read the marketing garbage you pasted up in your for sale thread, oh my word) and then go wrong and spray fuel around the engine bay and/or make your car run dangerously lean. -Ian
