Big Mark
My mate and his family out there are turkish cypriot and I know exactly what is going on out there. I'm not buying property out there in the forseable future, just going to work with my mate and his family that are involved in various aspects of the property market, and enjoy myself away from all the doom and gloom over here. Multics
dont preech to me fella, it was a simple question, wasnt asking for a shirty reply!! the guy needs advice and your obviously in a good position to give it and everyone else has an opinion! im telling what i know. there may not have been any physical violence but the tention is still quite high about land, and thats a fact! where? i was in Akrotiri on training. Seriously mate, there hasn't been proper tension since the shooting of Solomos Solomou: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomos_Solomou But I'm interested to know what kind of tensions are you talking about when you were in Akrotiri? We know Greeks and Turks talk loud! But anyway, stay away from property in the Northern part as there's big chances it doesn't belong to the people selling it. erol_h
Part of the reason I am going is I have have virtually nothing here now, just bills so life can only get better. If you have nothing to lose than go for it and see if its for you and if it isnt at least you know.

Big Mark
you got a supra you want to sell lol? Sold the Supra last year to fund a property development with a view to buying a better one with the profits. Recession put an end to that dream, for now. I do have a really crappy Mk3 Golf gti tho, lol.
