tooquicktostop Posted April 25, 2009 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Went to pick up the other half in her Astra Auto 2002 1.6 last night when driving a second accelerator pedal dropped down to the left of the brake pedal, it appears that some form of cable has snapped that held it in place, what is this pedal for (apart from speeding up:d), I have never seen an Auto car with this before Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Only saying this as worked on a car at work with same if not similar thing, as the customer only had one Leg. (or left Leg to be correct, and a false right Leg). The 2 Acceletrator pedals could be reversed either way (left side or right side of brake pedal) depending on who was driving by moving the opposite accelerator pedal up to bring the other down.
