Higher boost after exhaust change

I have replaced my knackered Kakimoto exhaust for a lovely Carbon HKS and after fitment I am now hitting .9bar (and 1bar in the top of third) when both turbos are online.

There is also much more of a kick when the second turbo comes online.

Before I was getting close to the stock values of just under .8 unless it was really cold. The previous exhaust was obviously more restrictive and this one flows much better.

My question is, will this be dangerous to continue to run under these conditions, both cats are still in and its all standard as far as the engine is concerned.

Also should I have hit fuel cut when it reached 1 bar...?

I am worried about overheating and running lean.

You will hit boost cut if 1bar is held for enough time

My bet is you have a boost leak to a vsv/actuator thats gradually getting worse, if you have both cats in exhaust change should matter imho

So I should check/replace all the vacuum hoses to the vsv's, but its strange how it changed at exactly the same time. Also I know the vsv's control when the turbos come it, but how do they decide boost levels..?

They don`t, the wastegate actuator does.
