Doing my usual morning BBC news reading to see what the main stream is reporting....

On one page you have Jade the musical, and on another you have 'The Apprentice'...

They reckon using the phrase 'You are fired' is very unPC and in poor taste given the amount of people out of work..and then they put some girl like Jade into a musical?? I know the musical one has been covered in a previous thread, so comments re that should really remain there...

And to think people won't vote for raving looney party, when lets be honest, most of us are living in raving looney society!

It beggars belief, it really does. I know the tabloid press has been seen as the lowest form of life for a few decades at least, but the advent of so called 'reality' tv has really sunk it to new depths.

Once, you had to have at least a modicum of skill or talent to warrent the 'celebrity' tag; soap actors, sportsmen (and if you think it should be 'sportspeople' - fuck off now). Now any shit for brains, dole scrounging, Kilroy watching retard can become a celebrity by whoring themselves out on some god awful tv show that only fuels the rest of the brainless plebs into believing you can become rich and famous for fuck all.

Society has degenerated into a cesspool of ignorance, selfishness and greed. I would quite happily see a plague wipe out these useless drains on society.

Grr, I'm annoyed now.

Man I was expecting to hear about your convoluted computer system locking you out of your own home or something not political correctness.

Hahahaha

Nah, my door lock system or should I say wood restraining system does have a manual override system built in...

I think they should do a series of Average Jo Apprentice, where the contestants aren't entrepreneurs and just have 'normal' jobs, see how well they do compared to the experts. Obviously Sir Al would have the right not to employ any of them at the end of it, but it'd make good TV and I think they'd do better than some of the twonks we get on there at the moment!

In theory, the term 'your fired' isn't technically correct for The Apprentice, as they don't actually work for him yet.

What Sir Alan should be saying is; 'Unfortunately you've been unsuccessful in your application, thank you for your interest and we we will keep your name on file should an appropriate vacancy arise'...

..but it doesn't really sound as snappy does it? :D

Or to add some relevancy to the forum....'Your post does not meet the intellectual requirements for the basis of a decent well thought out discussion' rather than you 'cock juggling thunderc.....' :)

(I don't mean your post just thinking that it could be used for some of the more useless posts that occur :))
