Guest Roos
Hello.. Have been reading post for a hour now and dont find any good help to my problem.. But iam from sweden so my english sucks.. I have put on the 2cats on my j-spec supra and I get messed up boost pressure. It will not stop to charge to I take the fot of the gas. I have checked the hoses from the wastegate and I checked so the wastegate wasent stuck. Any other way to check if the wastegate works? My Bcc is on 0.80. Anyone got any idea what I can do next? Anyone know were to buy a restrictor ring?

Guigsy
To raise the boost your going to have to remove the cats and fit a restrictor ring. Leaving the cats in is going to raise your exhaust temperatures which is bad. and your not going to be able to raise the boost.
RobSheffield
Are you UK/Export spec or J-Spec import?

I need the cats on for a while when I get the car surveyed so I can drive it on the roads legal. The problem is that the boost pressure shouldent go between 0.8 -1,5 or more whit the two cats on, or should it? Shouldent the boost stay on 0.8 if my bcc is on that. I dont want to raise the boost, I want it o stay on 0.8 The car is imported from japan.
Guigsy
it wont go above 0.8 if the boost controller is set to that. 0.8 is stock boost level when it is using both turbo's. in which case it should be fine with both cats in as your not actualy running higher boost than stock. But I dont really know how to fit the hoses after I remove it so i get it like its was original. Anyone have any pictures or something?
