pistonbroke
If so, can I see some pics please. I want to see how deep they are with that offset. Cheers.
Scott
The higher the number the further into the arch they will be so the less of a lip they will have.
pistonbroke
I know, thats why I want to see some. I like a nice lip, especially on the rears.
JamieP
If so, can I see some pics please. I want to see how deep they are with that offset. Cheers. The width of the wheel also has an effect on where it sits in relation to the arch.

Homer
That should be okay though dependant on diameter, tyre width and profile it will be getting close to the arch, especially if it has lower ride height. As close to +50 offset is best so for aftermarket wheels thats pretty good.
JamieP
This thread will give you an idea of what offsets look like on the car, i know what wheels you are thinking of and they will sit ok but wont be pushing to the edge. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=429834

pistonbroke
Just read through that thread from start to finish that Jamiep linked to. It's like the best definition of car porn I've seen in a while If anyone can find any pictures of the Rota GTLM wheels fitted to a car, then post them here. I'd like to see them fitted before parting with my hard earned. The rarerims site that also has them states that the rears have a HUGE lip. So it seems promising. JamieP
Got a link? they dont look to have a big dish in the driftworks pics.
AndyT
Couldn't find the GTLM's on rarerims. They have one of those apps where you can upload a picof your car and virtually place the rims on it. Clever. rarerims

Chiefgroover
As close to +50 offset is best so for aftermarket wheels thats pretty good. Very few 50 offset 18" or 19" wheels on the market. MVP reccommend 42 ® and 40 (f) in 19" 9.5 and 10.5 etc. My rears ar 42 (9.5ins) and their is plenty of clearance, so if your riding lower then thats good. I had a long conversation with Chris at center gravity about offsets and their effect on the car. He is of the opinion, based on experience that up to 10 mm and sometimes up to 15mm of offset change wont be noticable on how the car drives unless you track it, switching wheels back and forth to try and feel a difference. I agree, I have never used stock offsets on aftermarket wheels and could never say i had lost out on anything. How it works on paper vs how it is in reality is more important, so much so I machined my latest wheels on the front and changed their offset to suit my needs and lost nothing in the handling. The biggest myth on this forum is about offsets. It's really not that crucial, as your probably not going to track it or drive it to the outer limits of the handling.
