DamanC
Just a bit of market research I have added a poll, please tick the options that apply to you. Do you have a payal account? \\EDIT - Credit card option includes Debit card etc
Gaz6002
I have an account, but only use if for ebay. For everything else I use my cards. FWIW I don't really like Paypal, I don't think it's as secure as it could be and I only trust it for small purchases.
Animal
I had one a few years ago, but they suspended my account due to 'suspicious activity', it wouldn't let me log onto the site and I could never get through to customer services, so cancelled it from my bank account and subsequently changed banks. I manage fine without it and am better off without the hassle. Don't use ebay anymore either.
chris2o2
I have one but try not to use it for any large purchase's , i feel more confident using my credit card .
Scott
I use it constantly. I probably shouldn't use it as often as i do but i'm lazy lol.
lexsum
paypal and ebay are untrustworthy, unlawful and anti-competative. (and their fees are a rip-off too)
DODGYDODDS
i use it but only for smaller buys, they can be a pita, if you have a dispute
RED_ROCKET
its ok till you have a problem then they seem to be able to take money from your account as they please never use for large purchases unless i know the seller and he wont try and rip me off
AlexM
Prefer to use my credit card, but for instant payments paypal is very handy.
Matt H
What about - I only use it when i have to? Paypal's fees are ridiculous
Rob Dublin
Ditto with most of the above, use it for small purchases only. CC otherwise
Guest Budz86
Don't want one as I've never heard anything good about them. The fact that they can seemingly take money out of your account without your permission means I'm out.
hogmaw
Paypal is a bitch when it goes wrong or if there is a dispute, but the same could be said when similar things happen with other methods of payment. Otherwise it is quick and easy. TIP: If you make a paypal payment and click the tab to say it is personal and a debt owed to a friend then there are no fees payable by either party and the 3% charge is avoided. adnanshah247
limited number of options there bud. I have paypal and i think its a bunch of b@ll@cks with a little sprinkle of horse sh@t. they dont protect you properly. i hate using it because of the stupid charges but it makes life a little easier i guess, still prefer allowing my bank to deal with all my money rather than a 3rd party company. stevie_b
As long as I don't get charged extra for using the credit card, then I use it wherever possible. Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act FTW!
Konrad
I do use paypal on regular basis, never had any problems at all. My account is verified.
