ellis Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 As is pretty common knowledge now I broke one of my Vortex R wheels about 4 weeks ago. Have finally had a set of Jade Rs fitted (pics will follow in Supra Chat later for a variety of comments ranging from tacky chav wheels to ooh I like those, I'm sure!) which leaves me with 2 fronts and 1 rear I need to shift. The fronts are 8.5 x 19 and the rear is 9.5 x 19 (I think, pretty sure its not 10" but will check and amend if it is). They are not like new, there is curbing on them and the lacquer has been pulled off completely but they come up well with metal polish (better than the original polished look in my opinion). One of the fronts has a light dusting of spray paint from somewhere (looks like it has caught a blast from a sprayer at some point). The rear is good! Will post pics later today when I collect the wheels from the garage. These will be sold with no tyres as I'm keeping the front ones and the rear is up for sale separately. Collection is preferred but am prepared to deliver within a 50 mile radius of Lincoln or meet half way for those further away. Lord alone knows what these are worth as they could probably do with a refurb in all honesty. If we say best offer over £120 for the three - does that sound about right? ellis Posted April 24, 2009 Author Share Posted April 24, 2009 Here's what they look like as is. Reading from left to right, top to bottom are all 3 wheels (the rear is 9.5" not 10"). There is kerbing, they are delacquered, they do need a refurb. The two fronts are the first 2 wheels shown in sequence and the rear is the 3rd. Ask away if you have any questions. Looking closely at these, they would be good winter wheels or, after a refurb, would be a good set (albeit 75% of a set!).
