hogmaw
For some reason my WMP has stopped being able to stream music wavs from the server. When I click on the progress bar the music just starts from the beginning instead of from where I click. This is very annoying as I am trying to sequence songs for my album so I need instant access to anywhere in the song for reference. I have no idea how to fix it so I am looking for an alternative to WMP. There are loads available, but which is good? Suggestions welcome (apart from Quicktime) please! JustGav
Media player classic is a nice one, or alternatively the slightly heavy VLC http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

JustGav
Thanks Gav I tried that videolan and it crashed twice! I might go back to realplayer like i used to before Give MPC a whirl, it is meant to be the lightweight version, similar to what media player USED to be without all the fancy graphics and library rhubarb.
