mawby
Just the speaker, not the casing. Free if you pick it up or beer money if you want me to bring it to an event.

hadyn
So basically a 6x8" sub or speaker should fit in the factory enclosure?
mawby
It should do yes, but I'm not going to bet money on it.
hadyn
These look very similar to the speaker you've posted above: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KENWOOD-KFC-S6882C-6-X-8-CAR-SPEAKERS-240-WATTS-NEW_W0QQitemZ160328722208QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_Car_Speakers_PP?hash=item160328722208&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 I might try and upgrade the stock sub now. Thanks for the idea
mawby
Remember the stock amp is only designed to power a 25watt speaker, and the factory amp bypass cables you get don't power the factory sub (I think), so you might need to power it from your own amp or run some cables down from the head unit. hadyn
The rear sub is working AFAIK with my current setup. The rear window appears to vibrate slightly so somethings working?
mawby
If it works then it works, I'm just pointing out that whatever is powering the current sub is only powering a 25watt RMS speaker, so if you put in a 60watt RMS speaker it may have trouble producing any powefull low frequencies. Probably best to point an ICE techie at this thread and see what they think. I may have it all wrong.
