Multics
For the front, I know that craigsplates.com do a legal 7 character plate of 380mm x 85mm. No pics though sorry.
AndyT
It's about 20mm wider than the standard plate holder.

AndyT
if im correct this looks like a 3/4 right? thats how i want it That's it. Do the deal with Craisplates. It's under the legal heading. You'll have to scan your docs to them to confirm everything.
AlanM
Gives you all the sizes, including imports which are smaller on the DVLA website Jazz
jacko
Ye go for craigsplates, i just got a new front from there after the local constabulary had a moan about the old one i made not having a BS number and all that. Also their plates have everything on there to make them legal and also say "import" in the bottom corner, which always helps if the police get arsey/ dont know the law. I can go and take a pic of mine if you want? Edited April 21, 2009 by jacko (see edit history)

jazz1
but they wont be legal though 3/4 plate for the front is what i ordered
jacko
Yes, it may be a legal size, but it will not be legal. The law requires the plate to display the BS number, postcode and name of manufacturer, which if it is a "show plate" it will not

Lbm
That's one more thing for your rats to eat. I too have a legal, small import plate. See my garage - but then, why would you? You've already placed the order
