heckler
Right then... All 572 LED are now soldered on at last, so next step is to solder on some wires, take 5 ft of wire and chop up into 6" lengths.. http://www.internetwork.org.uk/lights/wire.jpg Eventually they look like this http://www.internetwork.org.uk/lights/set1.jpg http://www.internetwork.org.uk/lights/set2.jpg http://www.internetwork.org.uk/lights/set3.jpg Next job is to cut up and modify the existing light loom from the lights... jevansio
Si, is it possible for you to do LED lights but retain the OEM lenses for the OEM look when they're off? There's a thread on SF with some on at the mo, I'll dig it out 2_3l1_2G78s Cf7e0dfLHR0 Edited May 1, 2009 by jevansio (see edit history)

heckler
OK, update from todays effort... As the lights were already appart - http://internetwork.org.uk/lights/mount.jpg Next step is to fit the PCB's http://internetwork.org.uk/lights/mount2.jpg Some minor adjustments required to make the PCB's fit into the mounts. Now that they have all been fitted, the lights can be put back together, On my lights I also have the C-West light covers on.. http://internetwork.org.uk/lights/light.jpg Now on to the loom. due to the way I have the lights set up, the loom needs to be modified, couple of wires to be removes, one to be added. Take one perfectly good loom http://internetwork.org.uk/lights/loom1.jpg Remove the bulbs, and cut the bulb holders off http://internetwork.org.uk/lights/loom4.jpg Strip all the tape off http://internetwork.org.uk/lights/loom6.jpg Take the side light and brake light wire and cut the short wire off.. http://internetwork.org.uk/lights/loom7.jpg http://internetwork.org.uk/lights/loom8.jpg and tape upt the exposed join. Feed a new wire into the loom - as this is for the fog light http://internetwork.org.uk/lights/loom10.jpg And tape it all up. Thats it for today. SUPRALOOPY
I love the work thats gone into these. I also love the look when they are on, but don't like the the fact you can see all the leds. Great work Si, I take it these LED's would shine through a well tinted lense. Is there a price on these yet?
NeoFuture
well.. that was my first thought then i considered options, stock lenses, frosted gels, lots of mods could be done
