Obviously this is going to be incredibly biased..

From doing some quotes, the supra insurance is cheaper than the skyline.

It's all swings and roundabouts, they are both top cars, however i cannot split it.

This may be a stupid suggestion/comment, but off the top of my head, does the supra have less to go wrong than the skyline?

I'm feeling your desire for the Supe is weakening.

Leave now.

Have a sandwich.

Only then, will you be allowed to come back to help you decide which colour Supe to buy.

haha, its not!

I'll explain the situation, theres a cracker of a supra black one being sold, and waiting on the sellers reply, we could have a deal.

But then there are skylines lingering about that could be worth a tipple.

Supra wise, it'd have to be a Silver or Black.

Then sprayed Orange.

I used to have a Supra NA and since I part exchanged it for an R33 GTS-T to be honest I haven't looked back. Sure the Supra was only an NA but I wouldn't say that the build quality was better. I wouldn't say either that the build quality is better on the GTR than on the GTS-T.

The GTS-T is a very fun car to drive, faster and more nible than the Supra NA.

Engine wise it has quite a potential without the headaches and costs associated with its bigger brother RB26DETT. Mine runs about 320bhp and it's 300kg lighter than the Supra TT. The RB25DET engine is very reliable and can take upto 450bhp on stock internals (different turbo and associated mods).

GTR's are different, the have the ATTESSA system and the RB26DETT, the rest is pretty much the same. The suspsension is different as well but nothing than can't be improved on the GTS-T.

If I had to choose between a stock Supra TT or a stock Skyline GTS-T I would go for the Supra. However if I had to chose for a stock Supra TT or a stock R33 GTR it would be the GTR.

If your only option is a Supra NA, it'd have to be a skyline GTR (any of them) if you want a fairly quick car. The Supra NA looks nicer, but the performance (or lack of it) gets boring very quickly.

Insurance is always a killer with Skylines, even at my age they are more than 3 times more to insure. madness.

What cars do you have experience of owning before (this is not a dig, just trying to see if you're making a big step up in terms of power or from FWD to RWD)

my best matew has an r33 gtst and its a real nice motor, handles like a dream has a suttle kit that changes the looks around 10fold and performs great really from what ive been told of his exploits, however, biast as i may be, im looking for a bigger better supe to go medievil on his ass ha ha

both crackin cars mind, tuff choice?

I like the GTR's but the inside looks shockingly boring and drab. I don't fancy the cost of parts for them either:blink: I also would never get a GTS-t over a TT supra, the supra is far more attractive and seemed to have a lot more balls whereas the gts needed winding up to get some pace out of it, a lot more pleasurable to drive day to day I would say IMHO.

having had a supra NA and now an r33 gtst I would go for the skyline. Loved the look of the supra but i found it to be very tame compared to the skyline.

If a TT supra isnt on the cards it would have to be the skyline over the NA everytime.

I'm only 20 lol, having owned a saxo 1.1i :D, and a MG ZR 1.4 105+,

So all these things are going to be a huge step up.
