NeoFuture
Will i gain anything from having an induction kit, or should i stick with the NA standard OEM box, if i was to get anything out of one, which one should i go for
Animal
Stick with the stock airbox, possibly with an aftermarket panel filter (although I don't have any advice on those). All induction kits will just lose you power as they draw in hot air from the engine bay. And for gods sake, don't buy a HKS mushroom filter. Steve
You may lose a little power with the extra heat the filter will pull in. Stick with the OEM airbox and fit a panel filter.

I have one of these HKS ones can you suggest what to change to and why not to use these?
Mike
I have one of these HKS ones can you suggest what to change to and why not to use these? As above, the stock air box is best, and it's because your mushroom draws hot air from the engine bay
Multics
I have one of these HKS ones can you suggest what to change to and why not to use these? They're fine, just change the filter regularly as it's a serviceable item. Personally I don't believe the test that alot of people take for gospel. 1. The HKS filter tested is not the same filter element as the ones that HKS produce now 2. I don't trust tests unless I test myself Thesaid test: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ If I was you I'd stick with the stock airbox/filter or get an HKS filter and get a cold air feed/box. Animal
I have one of these HKS ones can you suggest what to change to and why not to use these? Do a search for it, there have been some good posts on the qualities of various filters, but basically, not only does it draw in hot air, but it has all the filtration properties of a string vest. The HKS filters let all kinds of dirt and grit into your engine. If I remember right, the Apexi cone filter came out best in the tests, but unless you're running big power, you should really go back to a stock airbox. Multics
ah really?? i must change it as it looks very dirty can these not be washed? If you want to stick with the HKS you already have, you can get a replacement filter element like this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HKS-Air-Filter-Replacement-Foam-NEW-3-layer-Dry-200mm_W0QQitemZ250406050707QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item250406050707&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1689|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 Better than washing it IMO
Animal
First people to ask would be Keron or QSD for 2nd hand ones, then get a panel filter from the trader of your choice.
