250hp for n/a 4.0 not bad really,rover v8 4.0 185 bhp?

very tunable....many adapter plates in nz for eaton m90,or other superchargers or how about a twin scrw kenne belle charger,now they sound proper crazy...or itb kits,or tubo kits...what nz have not done with these engines just not worth talking about...i have one in my garage for the exact same swap...but bear in mind you need a rear sump from the soarer to fit...6 bolt mains aswell...

You can usually pick up a soarer lump complete for not much more, which means no faffing about with oil pickups and sumps ;)

Then budget for some noce bits if you dont want the auto...(ps not from Thor!! :D)

* Bellhousing to suit r154 to 1UZ-FE

* 9kg Custom Fywheel with new ring gear

* 9/1/2" Clutch kit with organic clutch plate

* Slave cylinder and push rod

* Throw out bearing

* Pressed metal OEM Clutch Fork

* Clutch Fork Pivot ball

* Spiggot bearing

R154 gearbox and Prop £250

Then for the easy power route...

yeah same scenario as the 2jz na-t converion - lots proving the engine can handle it. There are a Lot over on clublexus running SC's on stock engines.

Also, if you want the big power, uprated internals such as pistons rods etc are readily avialable

in my opinion i will not waste money in S/C system!

they produce much more heat than turbos, and are more proper to fail due to heat, then belt replacements belt slippage are common problem on this systems!

the only advantage on S/C system comes in low rpm, instant power and less lag!

but at high rpm they are inefficient and produce too much heat!
