If you shipped them here it would probably take a good long while for you to get them back as the ceramic coating is not an official job :sly:

See how long it takes them to turn mine round and if they will do any more for me ;)

The main reason i commented on the paint was to see if you knew if it would stand up to the metal expansion and contracting without flaking off over time

it seems to say it will... i got it from a guy who has painted headers with it on muscle cars.... and i have painted 2 hot sides of turbos with it and so far so good

Have a look at Ryan.G's website (http://www.2bartuning.com), dyno section, and select Supra.

Look for the 2 lines with "SteveR" on the end of them: the first is on a MoTeC ECU which had the VVTi do absolutely nada, the second is on the Solaris ECU and with some VVTi magic: no other changes were made. It's much quicker now and the lower spool noticably helps out of the corners.

tell me more about that ECU... never heard of that before and thats a great increase by just tuning VVTi on... and i wonder why people think it useless...

Racecar background and thus excellent at honing the max performance but safely, plus lots of funky bits for the enthusiast to get stuck into like datalogging, pit lane speed limit, downshift throttle blip...

Relatively new on the market but a handful of us have started using it and no complaints so far!

More info here - Ryan.G is your man as he installed and mapped my Solaris (the first VVTi) so he's familiar with the kit but is also very close to the development teams.

Just dropped by haven't took a peek for a while.

So what colour are you going to go for on the Spark Cover then, white will certainly be a nightmare to keep clean.

Perhaps you could have it colour matched to your car!

What model of car do you have by the way a Tiptronic Auto or 6 speed Manual?

Alot of effort gone into your build up, top marks indeed and looking forward to seeing it all finished.
