ICV on N/A same as on turbo?

As title asks, is the ICV on the na the same as that on the turbo. I only ask as i was having a look at this guide

the one about cleaning the ICV, and when i took the part where the sensor connects off, the inside looks different and i cant see any kind of removable part?

 

In fact i cant really see what the connector part does??
