mawby
I was originally going to ask what this cable did but I spotted that when I plugged it back in a new ABS light illuminated on the dash when the ignition was turned on, but I was wondering if this cable connects anything else or is it just the ABS? EDIT - for reference this is located under the passenger seat.
RobSheffield
Definitely under passengers and not drivers? Looks like cat temp sensor plug and grommet.
Lee P
If its in the front then its the cat temp sense as Rob said but that is normaly drivers side.
mawby
Defo passenger side and it was definitely preventing the ABS light from coming on with the ignition. This is from Genna's UK spec if that makes a difference. I was hoping it would have something to do with the error code 27 or even error code
Lee P
Does it run into the seal or the transmission side?
mawby
It goes into the transmission tunnel.
Jimmer
Im 99.9% sure thats the second Oxy sensor plug/cable. Only know as i replaced mine last week. As to why it has anything to do with the ABS fook knows.
Homer
UK Spec - 2nd O2 sensor?
mawby
Well that would certainly explain error code 27 then so that's good! We did strip out the majority of the car yesterday to dye the carpet and fix some rattles so I may have plugged something else back in which caused the ABS light to start working. I'll reset the ECU tomorrow and see if error code 27 returns anytime soon.
Kev.O
UK Spec - 2nd O2 sensor? Certainly is
Tigger
If it’s the O2 sensor it could explain a lot! I wonder how long that has been unplugged??? (May last Year)
