Homer
LS7 RX7 Are you sure you'd be okay chucking one around? I drove one a year ago and although fitted in okay, it was all a bit cramped when it came to driving the thing, if you know what I mean! Ill test drive a few more cars before i decide yet, no rush, as you know with a bucket seat you can get them super low and far back so not really worried about fitting in one. Jezz
Rx-7's are fun, but even I struggle to get in! I'm trying to find a nice R34 GTR, but the 3 i've looked at havent been the best. I've just bought these to play with for now....

j_jza80
Sounds like a plan Jamie. You got a budget in mind for the base car? (If you don't mind me asking of course )
Guigsy
I have a couple of suggestions for you jamie I love s15s . rare and cool looking. How about a toyota century? a bit retro and still retro jap drift style? Or even a MkIII supra? Or the old skylines if you can find one! (i think these are both different oldschool skylines?) Or one of these. 240sx i think? Stick an RB26DETT in Or be a bit very different and get one of these. Not RWD but it would be an interesting drift project to convert it to rwd. I guess the drive train from a corolla or something would fit There is one for sale in northampton i keep driving past and think i should buy just for the fun of having crazy doors http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Sera Although to be honnest they dont seem your style at all
chris2o2
Go for it ! I love the rx7 but dont earn enough money to run/maintain and fix them .
Jezz
who you bought these from jezz? A salvage company in Japan. Low grade imports. They havent accepted my offer on the S15 yet though (They want £4k IIRC) I only wanted it to thrash then break up. The R33's on its way though. Homer
200sx is a great VFM car, but looks a bit drab, none of the pics of the modified ones have any real wow factor. The RX7 is such a nicer looking car, and light too.

Yeah, although i'd say ultimately the 200 was an easier car to control (Although i haven't pushed a Rex to the limit ) I think the RX7s buzzy nature makes it more fun though, the 200 can be a little sedate.
