SIMON LC
I have been over to the Isle of Man over easter on my Motorbike with a bunch of mates and had a race with a Gunmetal TT over the mountain section Sunday late afternoon. You was drivin around with your mate who had a black celica.I was on the Repsol Honda and followed you down off the mountain to Quarter bridge. That car was seriously shifting. Saw you the next day parked up at Creg but never got chance to have a chat with you.Anyone off here? Also saw a silver one at Fairy bridge Mon and a red one in Douglas. jim
I do security part-time at the Belfast terminal for the IOM boat, seems to have been a good weekend for it, there were a few impressive motors and bikes going across, I search the cars so get the chance to have a nosey under the bonnets, there was a 450bhp audi tt and a mean looking evo v on Sunday's boat over. Some of the bikes heading over for the TT races are just jaw dropping.

The Gunmetal TT is James' - (cheekymonkey), he's over with a few friends, they've got the Supra, Celica GT4 and an MX3. That Supra of his is BLOODY QUICK! He took me for a spin in it on the mountain and I was rather impressed! - It looks absolutely amazing and I think I want it! (James, if you're reading this, you're Supra's rubbish and you should get rid of it. Perhaps you should sell it to me for a pound? ) I love living over here, we have lots of time to drive fast, and legally!

Ah yes, upsetting the locals, it's one of our favourite past-times! But usually by the time they can complain or beep the horn, you're already miles down the road. Try to get some of that footage up, it'd be good to see!
SIMON LC
If you can tell me how to get vid footage up on here I will stick it on.Are any of you guys going to be having a go over the mountain in TT practice week, because we are all coming over on the Tues of practice and that mountain is so much better when its one way.My mate managed to clock 176mph on Fri up the mountain mile and has got proof on his on board cam. Also like the run through Glen Helen and down Cronky Voddy straight although I did'nt like the look of the Police Slow signs halfway down at the weekend. To be honest we tend to leave the mountain road to the bikers during that time. We have all year to play on the mountain road, during TT most of us avoid it! When you come over give us a shout, it'll be nice to meet up. D

cheekymonkey
Hey guys I am back now with a fully restored internet Was a great trip and it was really good meeting up with Dan and his mates. Am assuming thinkinggrenade is one of you guys! Once I've settled back down I'll have some video footage up from the trip as well. My favourite part of the TT course has to be the mountain section but for some reason my passenger is not too keen!? There are some amazing views that I was able to enjoy when stuck behind slower traffic (like repsol bikes *grin*) Next year I have the dilemma - supra or blackbird? I'd love to go there on the bike one day to enjoy the course at a sensible speed but I know I'd miss the supra!
SIMON LC
Was good to see you over there even though never got a chance to catch up with you.I normally get over there about 5 times a year with my mates on the bikes and we just about got that mountain section sorted now, especially Windy corner. You really should try TT practice week when the mountain is one way,you can take the race lines and dont have to worry about anything coming the other way at you. Trust me,you think its good in your Supra, you want to do it on the bike.Always nice to see the edge of your tyres snotted up by the time you hit Creg. Where about was you stopping,we always stop in Kirk Michael.
