bigbloodyturbo
A guy on here done it not so long ago. From what I remember he made up his own brackets at his work.
RobSheffield
No off the shelf brackets are available, you would have to have them custom made. Not really something to attempt unless you are highly confident you can make them strong enough. Not really an area of the car to be playing around with. UK brakes would be an adequate upgrade
Guest tommynufc
uk spec brakes are not so easy to get and most are asking top money for rubbish.
Homer
You can get a supra sepcific Brembo setup from them. It's not an area you want to skimp on! There are also more cost effective options such as the stock larger brake supra setup, AP Racing, etc... The most cost effective is normally to fit decent pads and discs to your current setup, they are more than enough for street use, unless you drive at very high speed, or like your track days. bigbloodyturbo
This is the guys thread. Awesome looking brakes but looks like a job for an good cnc machinist to make custom brackets and bells. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=175655&highlight=range+rover+brembo
dcarrter21
i would machine up a batch of these brackets and bells but i dnt think there would be enough rangerover brembos to go around!!! now got the TT lump in the car and im very glad i done the brakes. j_jza80
I think it was SupraDibbs who had a set fitted to his car from an Evo? There's a noticeable difference between Uk spec brakes and J spec ones (std) in operation, so I wouldn't discount the UK ones until you have tried them. What sort of Supra did you end up going for in the end Tommy? Have you got any pics?
Stevo
Hi Tommy - go for the uk brake set up IMO. Off topic I know, but are you coming along to the meet on Sunday this week? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=180655
dcarrter21
i think evo brakes would have been alot easier just because of the size. i guess mine are more for show.i would prob never notice the differnce between mine and ukspec
