Guest BobbyC
Hey peoples I need some help badly as i'm scratching my head and creating a bald patch! Ive just replaced most of the interior bulbs with blue ones - ash tray, ignition barrel light, ciggie light etc. I've also replaced the speedo, rev counter and fuel and heater bulbs with uprated LEDs. All was working fine, put the dash back in and tested it and then...nothing. No lights on the main dials and also the ash tray light now don't work either!? I've done the basic of checking all the connections, checked all the fuses and taken it all out and put it back in and still nothing. Has this ever happend to anybody? I'm stumped and the car's still in bits! If anybody knows what/where or how to fix it let me know! Ta very much!

absz
Is the dim switch on the right hand console connected ? as the feed for the dash dials goes threw that switch.

Do supras ever trip the lights for any reason if ya put LEDs in? no they don't - could well be a short somewhere, possibly its damaged the dimmer switch, if its not connected, the dash lights wont work - So, its its damaged/broken it will have the same symptoms. Hey dude, was just gona pm you for advice! So if the dimmer's damaged, none of them will work? The dimmer switch seems to be ok, aside from not actually dimming the lights (but the new ones still worked before all went wrong?!) I'll check that side of things in the morning again and hope thats the case, if it still aint working i'll drop ya a msg from work. Also, how much for the heater control, cigar ring, odo and clock in blue?

Jamesy W
I've had these symptoms before, after checking all fuses etc,, I eventually got an auto spark to check it over. Turned out to be a blown dimmer switch, instead of sourcing a new one though I just had it bridged out.
