adi
hi all.. i was asked to pass this bit of info on.. means nothing to me but hey.. "those that have bought the new brakes, please remind them that their spare will no longer fit on the front, and that unless they have bought the UK spare or have a special spare, they can be left stranded with a flat. I had a quick scan of the site when Matt told about the purchase completing but can't find any mention of this little potential problem. Branners
Yes, Mycroft emailed the same to me and my plan was to get a UK spec and import spare side by side today and see what the diferrence actually is. More info when we get it... JB
Syed Shah
I will go out and check the spare sizes now, back in a minute.........
Syed Shah
They are EXACTLY the SAME! Both put side-by-side, only thing different was Bridgestone vs Yoko tires. Typical Mycroft style.
adi
He may be going on measurements taken from the brakes and wheels fitted to the soarer, perhaps on a slightly different car they may not fit for some reason. adi

Branners
yep, double checked this today at Box Hill, they are the same space saver wheel, but some seem to have different tyres to others. So the spare WILL fit on a car which has recently had large brakes put on. Glad we got that sorted. JB
