Supragal
I'll have to change the disc to say 'over 50 and over the hill' soon. http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg36/rothbury_2007/IMGA1180.jpg That's cool!
Rob
The wife and I still have our Orange P7s from the early 90's, I knew they'd be cool again one day. I wonder if it works for clothes too.
AlexM
I got my bike out yesterday, don't think I've used it for at least three years. It quite effectively highlighted how unfit I am, but was at the same time a lot of fun!
Lukeyboy2k
Well, I'm trying to get my hands on any of theseGT LTS GT RTS Alpinestars Al-Mega Pace but the one I REALLY want is a Park Pre, but I cant find them anywhere I've got an Al-Mega in the shed. Probably my favourite bike I've ever ridden, even better than my Stumpjumper which has probably cost me over 4 times the amount buying and pimping up. CarlT67
I used to be very into my Downhill, I had a Intense M1 with Dorados, best build I could get my hands on. Unfortunately I sold it and bought my first car lol. Great for fitness etc but I must advise you to always wear protective gear especially a helmet. I broke my collar bone out in france downhill riding. I managed to do this with a full face TLD helmet and full body armor. Could have been fatal if I didn't have the gear on. Hope I haven't scared you lol, enjoy your riding...!

Soonto_HAS_soop
I don't have a retro bike like some of you, but I have almost finished my recent build, only thing needed is a set of manitou triple trees for the front and I will be happy. Few pics below from after my spin to the pub today, spot the new wheels which I have just had made for me, not huge money, but still good quality. Also had the Hope Mono 6's added a few months back, great brakes, had no issues with them ither than the inital setup, where they could do with more adjustment allowance. Also, due to many nights of riding through woods/along footpaths to get home from the pub, added some Blackburn X6 lights, brighter than car lights and great for those country lane car moments with oncoming cars that don't turn off main beam. RedM
Very nice, Rosie. I've had and sold a few bikes over the years. My best bike was an Orange Vitamin T with too many Titanium parts. It cost a small fortune which was never recovered! For some reason I still have a 93 (IIRC) Marin Pine Mountain. It's sat about twenty feet away in our hall, dusty and in need of some TLC but, in theory, it's still ridable. Where are you getting your parts from? I need an old Shimano XT drivetrain. Ebay or retrobike.co.uk Unfortuantely the price of retro can be a bit harsh though, for the rare/desirable bits anyway. I'm thinking we should have a supra MTB meet haha. RedM
I'm thinking we should have a supra MTB meet haha. Even a folding bike might not fit into the back of a Supra. Besides, members would only ride to the venue then spend the rest of the time standing next to their bikes.
Supragal
Oooh found the ebay auction - beast of the east was a trials bike not 'high for off road clearance' duh! Get it! It's a bargain, bin the crap bits, spray it and it'll be cool as!
far
speaking of retro lets break out the BEARTRAPS anyone remember those? Still got the scars lol
Supragal
I've got some nasty scars from cage pedals, thankfully they've faded a LOT now but I'm not looking forward to taking a DMR V8 in the shin I can tell you :S
