The Raven
Yeah leave them alone, They are not overly ugly and simply not worth the hassle. The only way to take them off is then to fill the holes and spray over.
Paul
Removed mine when I had a respray, the bodyshop I used were very good and tried filling, plastic welding, yet they still weren't happy that it would look good or not crack. In the end I got a plain J-spec front bumper without the holes and they fitted that.

Big Mark
I like the look of them, adds a bit more character to the front. I also like the UK bonnet vent too.

Kev.O
Getting a J-spec bumper is definately the best option. Should be able to pick a stock one up quite cheaply!
