Scott
Looks quite fortunate to be honest. A tyre going that way must be quite dangerous.

tooquicktostop
I delaminated a couple of sets of tyres on RR in my time, bloody annoying if you ask me, would much prefer a hub dyno now or cheap wheel/tyres for mapping as the cost of destroying Toyo's is just too much

dude
Not mine, one that came in for a power run, he's off to buy 4 new tires as we speak !!!!
Scott
Better on the dyno than on the road at that speed. Very good point. Does the dyno not put additional stress on the tyres though? Scary to think that could happen.

Paul here has been dynoing for many years and its the 2nd one he has seen, so no the tyres were just cheap crap from japan, the car has only just come in apparently. themodifiedkid
Fooking hell, not only has he gotta fork out for a new tyre but he's gotta pay for the spat bumper etc to be repaired. Mind you thats a small price to pay as it could have been out on the road and consequences, I dread to think about,... Very Lucky
Lee P
The tyres get hotter on the dyno as the car is strapped down tight, so they are under a bit more stress They shouldnt blow like that though definaitly rubbish tyres.
Muffleman
Standing next to that would of made you jump Sure puckered up my butt hole, I was in the car at the time Yeah Lee is right, cheap, old tyres. AndyT
Paul's (Whifbitz) tyre did that. Took out the fuel line and burned his drift RX7 to the ground. Sheesh.
