Pig
Sorry to drag this old thread up but I feel it is really important for someone who maybe searching to see the result of this. The car has been pulling...REALLY BADLY to the left for a LONG time. (as you can see, since 2009). I have thrown thousands and thousands at it to sort it and never solved the problem. I am embarrased to say (see the first few posts where everyone mentions tyres) that I fitted a new set of front tyres yesterday and the car drives perfectly straight, just like a new car. I am fuming with myself for not checking the basics first, so if you are reading this with an issues check your tyres and not just the pressures. Thanks everyone for your help, shame I didnt listen much back in the day

Ian C
Was the left hand one more worn or something then? At least it's fixed
Pig
Was the left hand one more worn or something then? At least it's fixed I'm not sure to be honest Ian as there is no way I expected this to sort the problem so didn't check. I did see a huge flat spot on the os one when I working on the car at the weekend but haven't checked the other. This has caused a major vibration for ages now. ( bear in mind I don't use the car though )

Chris Wilson
The front upright on the side(s) that hit the kerb are probably bent. Even quite a light knock can bend them. Change it. Having the old one digitised or jigged to see if it is bent will cost more than a new upright. Chris Wilson
Hub carrier, the main casting that holds the hub bearings that the bottom wishbone ball joint taper goes into.
Chris Wilson
A "PROPER" dynamic geo check would show this up, proper geo checks are few and far between though.
